At Gastro, we put our love for pets and their owners into all that we do.
Our Story
Gastro Mobile Dog Wash was born out of love, necessity, and a whole lot of hustle. Founded during the height of the pandemic, we saw the need for safe, convenient, and loving pet care when so many grooming salons were forced to close. With pets still needing essential services like baths, nail trims, and ear cleanings, we stepped in to fill the gap—right at your doorstep.

In early 2020, I spent months converting an empty cargo trailer into a fully equipped, climate-controlled grooming space. It housed two bathtubs, grooming tables, dryers, and clean/dirty water tanks—no cages, no kennels, and no stressful waiting rooms. Your pet got our full attention from start to finish.

And now, as of 2025, we’ve upgraded to a state-of-the-art extended Mercedes Sprinter van—bringing even more comfort, cleanliness, and style to our mobile spa experience.
Get to know me
I’m proud to be born and raised in Houston, TX, with some strong roots in Waco as well. My journey with animals started early—I worked as a veterinary technician for over 15 years, and I’ve never stopped loving what I do.
In 2017, I took a leap and studied to become a Safety Officer. While I earned my certifications, the job market wasn’t easy—most employers wanted over 10 years of experience I didn’t yet have. That’s when I decided:
Why wait for someone to hire me, when I can hire myself?
So I built a business doing what I’ve always loved: working with dogs.
And I haven’t looked back since.

We don’t just clean them—we bond with them. We send pictures and videos during their spa time so you can see how much fun they’re having. We work hard to make even nervous pets feel safe, loved, and understood. For some, a bath is scary. With us, it becomes a moment of joy, trust, and even a little pampering.
